@blood-on-the-tracks saidCorrect.
Hmmmm
I suspect the 'double points for port' and 'bonus points for trivia' promises have not been honoured, if those placings are correct
The final placings will honour all the rules.

But bearing in mind the rules ...
pete got 1pt for his answer + 1 pt for his trivia doubled for port-drinking = 4points.
As did BotT.
Congratulations guys, hope everyone had a little fun.
Special mention for Dive who got the Quiz Master's discretionary
bonus for the ACDC joke making 3 pts for Bronze.

I laughed out loud at your instructional reprimand of the duchess about standing up in the pub. 😁
(Edit; I think that was another thread though)
@wolfgang59 saidI can't hold my head up at RHP any longer if I try and live on with this lie. I confess. I wasn't drinking port. I can only apologise to Wolfgang and the community as a whole. I'll get my coat.ANSWERS

@wolfgang59 saidI apologize for yesterday's off-topic post regarding AC/DC. I was on break at work and momentarily waxed "sentimental".

I kind of lost my bearings there.
Additionally, I didn't read this thread's instructions very well. Regarding "true and false" I was surprised at having lost when I just knew that I'd gotten them all right. 🙂
Won't happen again.
May I suggest, after we've taken a sandwich break, a PubQuiz on "Darwinian Evolution". It seems that some in the world, especially the U.S., haven't yet evolved a frontal cortex and I find it fascinating. 😀
@ghost-of-a-duke saidTurns out you're not at the perfection level you had assumed.
There is absolutely no way I would lose a quiz on sandwiches. (As long as there are no questions on pâté ).
Blimey. too many edits.
