@very-rusty saidI'm directing the question to the person who wrote, "I believe he was pulling your chains." You interpreted his comment as "chain pulling" or joking.
LOL@ Andy, there is nothing to fear but fear itself old friend.
You should learn to direct the question to the person who said it.
I just let you know he was yanking your chains as you didn't seem to be getting that part of it. There was no Racism intended as far as I am concerned! 😉

Step up to the plate and answer the question: Is racism a matter to joke about?
@handyandy saidWhy not direct the question directly to the person who said it Andy. I think you're afraid! 😉 😛

@handyandy saidOk Andy,
I did ask him. He didn't reply.
Now it's your turn.
Lets try explaining this to you in a different way. You are little older than I am. Do you remember the old wood/oil stoves back in the day? You would put a pot or a kettle on them and the bottom would turn black, which is where I think the expression of Pot, kettle, black came from. There is not racism involved here only FACT!!!

@very-rusty saidYou stuck your nose into the pot/kettle discussion to remind everyone that it was "chain-pulling" or funny stuff.

The question, to you, is whether racism is a laughing matter. Simple to answer, even for a young sprout like you.
@handyandy saidAndy give it a rest! 😛 😉

Where does the saying Pot Kettle Black come from?
This saying, which personifies kitchenware in order to make a point about hypocrisy, means “to criticize someone for a fault you also possess.” Per WiseGeek, the phrase dates back to the early 1600s, when most pots and kettles were fashioned from cast iron, a material that acquires streaks of black smoke when heated.
You like that answer better Andy? 😉

@handyandy saidYou never had much of a sense of humor.
The point of the saying is that all are equal. Where's the racism?
