I did that once and it worked. I was quite happy the officer let us go, but as soon as I started driving away my girlfriend started in on me:

"Whatchas mean ossifer. I aven't been drink- *hi-cup* -ing." Then she continued to bitch me out for the next 10 minutes as we drove home. 😞

There's a cloud in every silver lining...

Before I decided to choose Global warming I thought I could have talked about the moon landings and why they were faked:
I think this would have been useful 😉.

Thanks to those of you who have posted useful advice; it is amazing though how threads just seem to drift...😕

You could also have invited skeeter as an eye-witness to the non-event. 😕

That's good, but if you really want to convince people that man didn't land on the moon you need 3 video tapes:

"What Happened on the Moon"
A two tape series broken down into 3 parts

You also need:
"HOAGLAND'S MARS:-Vol. III - THE MOON/MARS CONNECTION - Alien Ruins On The Moon?"

This is Hoagland's proof of alien structures on the moon (of which one of our mission rockets hit). I take his work very seriously and saw that when he was lecturing at colleges he suddenly suffered a heart attack.
The government let him live and continue to sell his material, but he agreed not to do any more public presentations. If you want the truth? start with these 3 videos.

Tell them what you're going to tell them
Tell them
Tell them what you've told them

As an ex military officer that's given many briefings, that has always worked fine for me.

Any help would be appreciated. 🙂
Since you have only 10 minutes, talk about the aspect of global warning that has happened in the past. If I am correct there has been 17 ice ages already. Concequently, global warning is going to happen with or without human involvement. I see that is one fact that the experts "CONVINIENTLY FORGET" to talk about.
Sure that the carbon based fuels makes the process faster, perhaps cuts of few thousand years or million years.

- So you admit we are making it happen, at least faster; this has dire consequences of its own you know. So of course we are causing the problem, as otherwise a similar process would happen much slower, and we would (and animal life in general) would be able to adapt more easily.

If it takes 17 million years or only 16.99 million years does not make any difference. The difference between the numbers is roughly 500 generations. :o)

Are you saying that we will be seeing the consequences of global warming in a few million years?

Yes, and that will happen even if we remove every single human from the earth. I know that there is a problem since the ice cover on Greenland is getting thicker as it is some other places.

As you know, I'm sure, there are two problems: Global warming itself and widespread denial. Solving the second may help to solve the first.

Some highly populated areas are getting slightly warmer, I have been told, but these dudes who makes these comments always forget the second half of the story. Some other areas are getting colder, perhaps there is just re-alignment between the climate zones.
