I can't eat eggs. They have not been born. That and I think I'm allergic to them.

The ones in the shop have no chance of being born, no roosters in with the hens.

I have an overcooked egg phobia, scrambled, poached or fried with a runny yolk or it's 🤢

My musing is that sometimes quiche seems to be enjoyable, other times less so. Might be the brand, the ingredients the cooking process or maybe just personal taste on the day. At either sitting I wouldn’t describe the assessment of it as being a “torment”.

Quiche needs to be more cheesy and not too eggy. The pastry needs to be tender and crumbly, and buttery.
