How do some of you know so many first and last names?
Are you moderators and look at email address info?
I can't think of any scenario where two posters would get to the point of exchanging names 🤔
Maybe if it was a hot chick or something along those lines but other than that how do you say...
"Hi I'm such and such....what is your name?"
@cheesemaster saidNot sure why, but I think of Lemondrop as a Malcolm.
Guess the posters real name.
One guess per username.
Spelling is not important.
The winner is the first person to get 2 right when they admit you were right.
Very Rusty = Paul?
Ghost of a Duke = Thomas?
Ponderable = Hans?
Suzianne = Gertrude?
Kewpie = Elizabeth?
Hakima = Joanne?
lemondrop = Steve?
Torunn = Jana?
Divegeester = Robert?

@torunn saidTrue but a few of you know a lot of people's full names....
We sometimes get acquainted during in-game chatting.
Not just one or two which could be understandable but some of you know 10+ people?
I don't even have a friend in real life!
To know private info about online personas and that many is a little strange...
Not in a bad way....
@Ghost-of-a-Duke
Just tried to send you a PM but you have me on “ignore”, or is it “ignite” ...
It wasn’t abuse btw!
@divegeester saidOh, I've had you on ignore since March.

But thanks for the Christmas greeting.
@cheesemaster saidI don’t have any friends in real life either. “Friends” are generally a pain in the ass. I have family and lots of acquaintances.

Most of the people I know here go back many years when the clans were more active and teams spilled over into Facebook. I’ve lost a few of these friends thorough clashes over politics or some toxic RHP partisan bollox.

@divegeester
"Friends" just end up asking for something or drag you into drama or worse so I'm content with a chess book and a beer...or 10 beers.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidInteresting, I don’t have you on ignore because I am quite happy to tell you want I want to say to your face, in public, which is my way of conducting relationships, good or bad.
Oh, I've had you on ignore since March.
But thanks for the Christmas greeting.
But if you feel a certain sense of power and gratification from using the PM ignore tool “since March”, (gosh all that time and me not knowing) when “today” is the first time I needed to PM you, then I suppose that’s good for you.
Btw it wasn’t a Christmas greeting, it was a note regarding personal information. But never mind.
@divegeester saidFor some people, my door isn't open.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidWhatever nerve it is you are aiming for with this childishness, you are missing it.
For some people, my door isn't open.

Anon.
@cheesemaster saidMaybe some of them were acquainted before they joined RHP?

@torunn saidYa I can see that too.

Friends or chess club members who join the same site.
I just imagine all of you being in far off places that are unreachable.
I don't think it would be as fun if I knew the real person behind the username/avatar 🤔
