@gambrel said*chess.com you have some of the strongest players in the world.
If you understood ratings, you'd know they're relative to the player's pool. A strong field of players means lower ratings. Take for instance *hess.com
The strongest players in the world play there. You name the Super GM, they're more than likely a member. The result? You get titled players with 1600 ratings
I've played an FM who was just over 1600. I've played 900 players there that we're pretty adept. So it's all relative
One of the other ones I am on, You don't want to know my rating on there, but quite different than here.
You have serious players on that site as you know. The people on this site are no where close to the players ratings on that site in my opinion.

@very-rusty saidThen are you suggesting that dive’s and FMF’s ratings would be even lower on those chess websites with stronger players?!

Is it possible to have a rating below zero?
@pb1022 saidI don't believe they would be on there as the people are into playing chess not talking.

They don't put up with any crap on that site. They have the rules posted and you best read them.
I don't think either one of them would last 24 hrs. unless they were a lot better behaved there than on here.

@fmf saidI didn't mention his clan. I mentioned his posse. Why are you conflating the two?
Yes, according to you, the members of divegeester's clan had all "sold their souls". So, I listed the names of the people you are referring to. You also called them a 'posse".
Really, what's wrong with you lately?
You appear to be way off your feed.
I rate your interaction (such as it is) in this thread to be sub-par.

I thought the Dive Lounge was one of your clubs. I want in that club. I can be the bouncer and will work for beer.
@suzianne said
You should be ready to sell your soul, like the rest of his thumb-clicking posse.
@fmf said
I don't know what "posse" you think there is. I, for one, don't give thumbs up and thumbs down to anyone. Who is in this supposed "posse"?
@suzianne said
They know who they are. The post was for them, not you.
@fmf said
There is supposedly a "posse" that thumbs you down in the Dive Lounge, but you don't know who?
@suzianne said
I didn't say they thumbed me down. Why don't you quit before people catch on to your game?
@fmf said
You said of the members of the Dive Lounge that Romans1009 "...should be ready to sell [his] soul, like the rest of [divegeester's] thumb-clicking posse." Who are they thumbing up and down, in your view? And suddenly you don't know who is in the supposed "posse although you assert THERE IS A POSSE?" You're trying too hard, Suzianne.
@suzianne said
Man, you're just not at your best today, are you? I'm not the one trying too hard, sweetie.
@fmf said
So these members of the community, according to you, "sold their souls"... Indonesia Phil, rookie54, Kewpie, Silverstriker. ...and they are a "thumb-clicking posse"? Boy oh boy. What makes you think this?
@suzianne said
According to me? I never called anyone out. Isn't that you, "naming names"? Are you okay? You're just not doing so well. Maybe its something you ate?

Narrator: And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Suzianne talking about the Dive Lounge clan and its members. Welcome to Suzianne's World.

I see you’ve been denying to FMF that you said this.
So you are accusing the members of my clan of being a “thumb-clicking posse” … on what basis do you make this claim?
@very-rusty said.You left because you’re a lightweight thin-skinned emotional weakling. Simple.
The only reason I left my own clan is because I don't argue with Clanmates especially one we were carrying. Well they are still carrying that clanmate. Now we argue in the forums, you may have noticed.
You were whining on and on and on and on like a little girl, the PMs to the leaders crying and crying “oh divegeester is slapping my nuts in the general forum” and the reply you got was “well don’t be a douchbag then”.
So you left. What a pathetic joke you are.
It’s lovely in the clan know we don’t have to listen to your constant moaning.

@gambrel saidSay I have a rating of 1000 and, say, Kewpie has a rating of 1000 too. If I play Kewpie 50 times ~ and they are the only games either of us play ~ and I win half [25 of] the games with none drawn, what would our respective ratings be after those 50 games?
If you understood ratings, you'd know they're relative to the player's pool.
If we each had our 1000 ratings and Kewpie beat me 50 times in 50 games with no draws, what would our respective ratings then be, assuming neither of us played anyone else during that time?
