Setting up the computer so the kids can use it is NOT lazy parenting.
The internet is an integral part of society now and it is not going away anytime soon.
Kids are required to use the internet in elementary school computer lab and also to research reports. Not to mention the hundreds of web sites that are flashed on every commercial and cereal bo ...[text shortened]... cker.
My kids are too young to know about sex yet, so I would call it pro-active....not lazy.
Being pro active would be to sit next to your children as they learn, they are only young for about 10 years after leaving junior school, so it is not long.
Being lazy is letting a program do it.
Parents are better than programs
As for cereal boxes guiding me ??????????
(Please tell me you were joking about that bit)

I'm sure they will turn out perfectly normal as you micromanage every second of their life.

If you were sat next to a kid, you wouldn't be able to stop unsolicited porn by the power of your mind. Being lazy is leaving the kids to deal with it themselves. π
It works for me.
