@relentless-red saidwoof woof...woof woof woof woof!
You better watch out
There may be dogs about
I've looked over Jordan and I have seen
Things are not what they seem
Great album! Though I believe I appreciated it a bit more in the 1970s...due to "enhancements".

@ghost-of-a-duke saidIn my Monopoly-playing days, I chose the dog as well.
I was always lucky with the dog. (Except against my sister, who admitted years later she'd steal from the bank.)
Great minds.
If the dog was already taken by some barbarian, I would choose the wheelbarrow, since it would allow me to tote my winnings home. 🙂
I have also been known to play the thimble, or the top hat.
@great-big-stees saidBut, "appearances can be deceiving". 🙂
My first thought, when I saw the threads title, was that it was going to be about who has monopolized the GF threads. I appear to have been wrong.😲🤭

@woofwoof saidGreat tour. Try telling your kids about the moment where the giant flying pig comes from behind you with the laser eyes and you just can't do it justice. In fact don't try, just sit quietly with a contented smile.

@chris-guffogg saidWere you bored? 🙂
I'll have the Top Hat if still up for grabs🤷♂️ Read earlier posts but fell asleep🤔 So might of missed something...

@kewpie saidBecause of your post, I went and checked it out. Played a game against the AI, which isn't very good. With me against 2 robots (amusingly called Robot1 and Robot2, don't ask me why, but I had expected the plain 'Bob' and 'Jim' ), I started by landing on the light blues, and Robot1 landed on another, and Robot2 landed on the third. I bought both off them right away by proposing a trade, the property for my money (humans probably wouldn't have gone for that), and I put hotels up almost immediately. I pulled the same on the purples a few moves later, and then just grinded them down after that. I noticed a few interesting things different from Monopoly, like instead of the Utilities, they had single properties that you could put houses on by only having the one property. They also had an interesting "Spin the Wheel" space where you spun a big wheel and got what the wheel said. Once I hit it for "=1000" which meant my cash was dropped to exactly $1000, that hurt.
Anyone tried Rento? at playrento.com
I'm just asking, haven't tried it myself.
When I beat Robot1, I didn't get all his stuff, just his cash, the properties (and houses) went back to the bank, not auctioned off, but were able to be landed on and bought.
Not a bad "pass the time" game (there's an option to play against humans, not sure if you get a waiting room where you can pick your opponents, or if you get them randomly assigned or what).
@rookie54 saidYou could have a steam train
i get to be the sledgehammer
a new token i have created for the singular purpose of destroying board game capitalism
If you'd just lay down your tracks
You could have an aeroplane flying
If you bring your blue sky back
All you do is call me
I'll be anything you need
You could have a big dipper
Going up and down, all around the bends
You could have a bumper car, bumping
This amusement never ends
I want to be your sledgehammer
Why don't you call my name
Oh let me be your sledgehammer
This will be my testimony
Show me round your fruitcage
'Cos I will be your honey bee
Open up your fruitcage
Where the fruit is as sweet as can be
I want to be your sledgehammer
Why don't you call my name
You'd better call the sledgehammer
Put your mind at rest
I'm going to be-the sledgehammer
This can be my testimony
I'm your sledgehammer
Let there be no doubt about it
Sledge sledge sledgehammer
I've kicked the habit
Shed my skin
This is the new stuff
I go dancing in, we go dancing in
Oh won't you show for me
And I will show for you
Show for me, I will show for you
Yea, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I do mean you
Only you
You've been coming through
Going to build that powerr
Build, build up that power, hey
I've been feeding the rhythm
I've been feeding the rhythm
Going to feel that power, build in you
Come on, come on, help me do
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you
I've been feeding the rhythm
I've been feeding the rhythm
It's what we're doing, doing
All day and night
