It didn't contravene the TOS. It wasn't abusive. It wasn't obscene. It wasn't harassing. It was just a joke. It was in the spirit of the thread and on-topic.
Still, no one has complained about it.

Even during the last difficult couple of years the forum moderation here has been excellent with an even-handed approach to refereeing these boards. But in recent days and weeks, since the departure of the top-notch moderator Silverstriker, I’ve noticed a distinct albeit intermittent decline in the quality of decision making.
The moderation team, whoever they are these days, would do well to remember that over the last 15 years, the times of most forum strife, the times of most unpleasantness and the times of most intervention from the site ownership, was during periods of poorly applied moderation.
This was when tactical forum interventions were driven by personal opinion and factional leanings rather than objectivity and a desire to let the game flow… as they say in football/soccer when there has been some physicality to the game.
Just a thought.
