There, have a go at me if you like, but I am angry, frustrated and hurt over the whole issue.
However, I would like to make a couple of points to you because you need to know them:
Russ spends a lot of time keeping this chess site up & running; and he's just one person so he has to delegate work out to other people, stuff like forum moderation, miscellaneous questions and much more.
Like yourself, I too became upset with some of the posting in the forums and messaged Russ. But after rethinking the problem I have to give credit to Russ for being able to manage such a huge site, find the time to improve it, and keep the cost down.
My advice to you, as a friend, is to understand that Russ does not have time to personally handle every complaint about messages, and that the forum moderators work without being paid. So, don't argue with the belligerent people who post here. Either accept their right to say what they want or get out of the forums.
Now there will be some ignorant people who will attack my character instead of my words. I don't care. In all likelyhood I won't even read this forum again for another 3 months.
