I might give it a try.

I like to experiment with new food.

This is just one of the ways sardines are done up.

If you don't like it, perhaps try something in type of olive oil I believe.
Description. Clover Leaf Brisling Sardines in Olive Oil are premium sardines. Only the purest of extra virgin olive oil is used. Clover Leaf Brisling Sardines are a source of energy, omega-3, vitamin A, vitamin D and iron, an excellent source of protein and a good source of calcium.

I enjoy both personally.

Hey. We're having a pleasant conversation about sardines.

Go us.

That is because we found something pleasant to talk about, food is always a good one. One either likes it or doesn't and hard to argue over what someone else likes or dislikes.

I do get your point though, we are not bantering against each other.

I noticed that as well. Kudos!
Great modelling encourages improved behavior.

A rising tides floats all ships.
Though, in this case, slack tide might be the true test.
Nevertheless, a pleasing development.

Have no fear, this is simply an effect of the Sardines. I believe they should be served at most peace conferences although possibly with a diplomatically neutral sauce on such occasions. Maybe the lemon sauce could be the key here.

Strangely, I have no memory of ever eating a pilchard.

True story.
