What kind of afghan? A human, a dog or a blanket?

1. Afghan. a native or inhabitant of Afghanistan.
2. A soft woolen blanket, crocheted or knitted, usually in a geometric pattern.
4. Afghan hound. one of a breed of swift hunting hounds having a long, narrow head and a long, silky coat.

How is this helping me decide? Focus, people. Now, which Scandinavian country should I grace with my presence?

It all depends on what you are looking for. What are you looking for?

Truth and beauty. And a nice pub. And some Swedish meatballs or some fish with dill sauce. Or somesuch.

EDIT: That's the thing, though. I don't even know what these countries offer, but I would like to find out!

I feel like taking a trip, and I just saw a few pictures of Stockholm, Sweden and Olso, Norawy. Both look very nice, and I've never been anywhere near either of them. Any thoughts on these cities?

What is truth?

Beauty of nature? Sogn og Fjordane and the Lofoten islands (both in Norway) come to my mind here. Beauty in the skies? Northern Norway, Sweden or Finland (the latter isn't part of Scandinavia, but who cares?) in autumn, winter or spring (during the summer it doesn't get dark, so you can't see the aurora, although the midnight sun is quite nice as well). Architectural beauty? Bergen (Norway) is beautiful and historically interesting. I think both Oslo and Stockholm have a lot to offer as well, but I don't know either of them very well. Beauty of women? You'd better ask someone else... Same goes for pubs. As mentioned, alcohol is very expensive here (it's cheaper in Sweden). For Swedish meatballs you should probably go to Sweden. I don't know about fish with dill sauce, but you can get lots of delicious and/or weird fish dishes here in Norway. I don't know how it compares to Sweden.

Truth can only be found in Finland.

Fact.

Agreed, if I could go to any Scandinavian country, it would without a doubt be Finland.

That's what Scandinavia said to Finland right before they said "ajaa ei antaa ä humauttaa te kotona nojautua jotavastoin te aari eroten!".

Don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out!

Then the right word is Nordic, not Scandifagia.
