The Strictly Compliments thread was not a "troll thread". As I say, it was the General Forum community at its best. Loads of people posted. Loads of people were mentioned. Funny things were said. sincere things were said. It was excellent.

I’m superior to you in every conceivable way of any importance.

Chess is just a game and if it disappeared tomorrow the world wouldn’t skip a beat.

If you are better than chess than me, that is ok with me, really.
