You’re taking a masters degree in your spare time, while holding down a job, and you’re doing because … it’s hard? Surely as a chess player you will have an endgame in mind?

It's a lot of researching and writing, I can see how you might think that was hard.

Some Zoom calls. Some online classes. Yeah, it takes a lot of time.

Thank God it only takes a few years. Going to Grad school in person you could blow through it in two years, but I'm taking a bit of extra time, maybe 2.5 to 3 years, as I have a full-time job with lots of overtime.

I only have the utterly incredulous stuff which you post here to go on.

This latest story; that you are undertaking a three year research based Masters degree while holding down a full time job, with lots of overtime, while playing live music in various places, while saving lives on the streets and kicking Kung fu ass of sexual molesters in bars, and doing it just because it is “hard” …but you don’t want to discuss your research topic for the same reason you don’t want to give out your name and address….

It all comes out of the same place, doesn’t it.
