Okay, Gentlemen. Miss Sticky Thread grants her permission for each of you to take a peek.
Please refrain from revealing the word she had in mind until all have replied. Thanks,
I did the precise calculation. Post 10,000 will occur at 11:43:22:015 on August 18, 2014. The only variance might be a jump from 9,863 to 10,426 over a brief few minutes as multiple members attempt to hit the exact 10,000th post. Thus, the error range must be stated as a 97% confidence interval of +/- 6:23:045 minutes. The calculation is based on the rates of postings for each poster, their trends in posting, and the rates of new posters. An assumption had to be entered to account for trolls and spammers. These annoyances are, however, predictable and easily factored in.

The first 8379 posts have been done in the first 1625 days of the threads existence. This gives a velocity of 5.1563 posts/day.
At that pace the 10,000 mark would have fallen 12th of November 2014.
But in the last 122 days we only saw 161 posts (including this one), giving us 1,3197 posts/day.
At this pace we still need 349 more days thus the 10,000 mark may not be reached until 15th of April 2015.

Should that have been 12th November 2013?
