There's a sure and proven way to stop it. Each time a new post is added, just 'reply and quote' respond with "wheelbarrow". It'll take some teamwork, rotate it around the protagonists but eventually the thread will die.

I'll start it off...

i don't think wheelbarrow is working in any of the threads.

i'm thinking of starting a wheelbarrow thread to see if that catches on.

maybe there's something sticky about wheelbarrow's?

maybe wheelbarrows make for a cool game?

i don't think there's anything thready about them.
