We've probably all done it.
Yet still they misbehave.

Could this mean it doesn't work?
But, what would they get up to if we didn't do it?

In fact the inanimate object is not to blame. But we have a hard time to understand that we made themistake. And somehow it is removing the burden of our shoulder if we can give blame. Also it relieves part of the pain.

But now and then a table will jump to the place were we are about to put our toe...
