( This is not a racist thread, just an interesting fact ). The majority of jews today who say they come from the lost tribes of Israel are in fact khazars who converted to judaism and have no link to any lost tribes of Israel. The khazars were a nomadic people who had a big empire by the caspian sea. You can only be a jew by converting to judaism, a so called race of jews simply dosent exist in the modern world.

what? our Jewish friends dont have a monopoly on Semitism. How intwesting!
Originally posted by hintjulas i pointed out in my comments you have no way of tracing anyone to the original twelve tribes making your assertion, moot to boot! and for your information, the Hebrew portion of the ancient text was authored by a diverse range of individuals, from manual labourers, to great Kings, not simply 'religious scribes', making this latter assertion rather inaccurate, to say the least.

Would it help you to feel better if we called those of Jewish descent Hebrews instead of Jews, since according to you, all Jews are converts? Okay, then we'll call the converts Jews and those who are descended from Isaac Hebrews. Because whether you want to believe it or not, and make up "facts" to hide your racism behind, there are surely people walking this earth today who are indeed descendants of Isaac, even if they cannot prove their pedigree.
