@very-rusty saidDistasteful thread nevertheless. In very poor taste, and bordering on sick. It was neither stirring any pot nor was it drama.... dont play lawyer for him.
I know Trev for many years. He has been around longer than the date shows that he joined. Lets put it this way he was around here before I was! He loves to stir the pot, people like drama and he doesn't mind giving it to them. NOTE: His THREAD was removed not him! 😉

@rajk999 saidI don't play lawyer for anyone. How do you know I wasn't the one who alerted it? In fact I think a remember several alerts. Reason it was removed because it was against the TOS Guidelines.

I would never comment on someone's state of mind, be my guest if you want to of course.

@rajk999 saidIt was clearly a joke, unfortunately those who sent me PMs inquiring about prices were sadly disappointed.
He s saying that he does not give a crap about Christianity or religion on the whole, and this is typical of fundamentalist atheists who lack tolerance. Remember this is the same guy who tried to start a distasteful thread, a couple days ago about selling kids and it got deleted.
Don’t have an issue with any religion or people’s beliefs, just don’t want it brought into a discussion where it doesn’t belong. If I wanted to read bible quotes I’d read the bible, what I’ve found is that atheists are often the most tolerant towards different religions than so called religious people.
@trev33 saidThat's the kind of reasonableness I'd expect. Take it to the reasonableness forum spanky.

@trev33 saidI wouldn’t judge a woman for having an abortion though I do wonder how many are forever haunted by the decision of having one at a young age then later deciding to start a family. I was in the unfortunate position of being involved with the family of a young woman who were considering an abortion. I was terrified of saying anything which could inadvertently colour their decision as I wanted no part in it.
I don’t know who dumbed down your two posts, they seems like perfectly fine questions/statements.
40 is going on the older side of childbirth so I’d say it was a perfectly fine question for the gp to ask, maybe they had thought about it. It’s obviously not ideal but if it is a case of someone not being able to look after a kid by themselves or if they can’t afford it, 100% they should get an abortion if they want to. Often no wrong or right, just personal choices.
Not sure if you’ve heard of Heidi Crowter? She’s been campaigning for a change in the abortion law in the UK which she says discriminates against the unborn child in the womb with Downes Syndrome.
@drewnogal saidThe choices made by anyone regarding their bodies should be left to the individual (who has reached the age of majority) to make. They then live with that choice.

@rajk999 saidFundamentalist Christians are far more famous for lacking tolerance.

Rightfully so.

@rajk999 saidLet's also remember that as Christians go, you're more of a crabby, irritable drinker.

@rajk999 saidIt's better not to encourage the Jews and their admirers about this whole vengeance thing.
Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a real blessing. The sons a man has when he is young are like arrows in a soldier's hand. Happy is the man who has many such arrows. He will never be defeated when he meets his enemies in the place of judgment. (Psalms 127:3-5 GNB)
Note that "children" in these verses only includes the sons. Sorry girls!
