One well-known aspect of quantum physics is that certain observations cannot be predicted absolutely.
Consider an experiment that was recently published in the journal Science showing that scientists could retroactively change something that had happened in the past. Particles had to decide how to behave when they hit a beam splitter. Later on, the experimenter could turn a second switch on or off. It turns out that what the observer decided at that point, determined what the particle did in the past.

In this thread Phlab is stating facts. When GB does it, he's attaching his personal opinions to each item and subtly denigrating at anyone who doesn't come up to what he thinks is perfection. The posters' intentions appear to be quite different.

GB seems to be levelled against his persona, he's condescending etc and the
frequency of his posts, yet if I look at the general forum there are persona's who are
way more insidious and abrasive than GB and out of twenty threads GB has only
started four. Please compare this to RJHinds in the spirituality forum where he has
single handedly turned it into some young earth creationist fest complete with models of
a family of four on the back of a tyrannosaurus rex! There are many positives to be
taken from GB's posts, i really wonder if in this instance familiarity has fomented
contempt, its simply a matter of perspective CFT, dont you think?

On a purely lexical basis the vocabulary is extensive. Secondly the correlation is
not defined, that is to say, one is left to decide for oneself if the traits that GB
mentions have any relevance to and to what extent the actions that he condemns.
One could easily justify it though, for clearly anyone who imposes their will on
another person through lets say the act of rape, has no regard for the consequences
of the life to which they ruin. Clearly such an act is completely self consuming, thus
GB's reference to hypersensitivity to self. Procrastination may be a little more
difficult to get a handle on, never the less it may be a reference to these persons as
'wasters', of their own lives or the lives of other people or one can readily state that
perhaps in the case of serial rapists/killers, procrastination with regard to
responsibility was a factor which led them to commit their heinous acts, had their
minds been better employed with some virtue, it may have prevented them dwelling
on that which they should not. Empirical evidence for what we take into our minds
and how we act exists, otherwise advertising would be a waste of time.
the thing is dear CFT, we cannot be dogmatic and simply assert that because we do
not understand something that it has no meaning, language is a very cumbersome
vehicle, especially on the internet where we cannot see facial expressions or discern
tone of voice, a little latitude may be necessary, surely.
