Originally posted by Very Rustyyes dutch cheese is also good. no offense but i'd expect canadian cheese to be much like american cheese but i have no proof. i majorly missed 3 things while i was in s. america, milk, cheese and good quality fresh fish (although that you could find if you either looked hard enough or paid that little bit extra at certain restaurants) anyway i stayed at one place for about 2 1/2 months in total and got really friendly with a dutch guy who was living there, during one of my stays his brother came over to visit and brought with him some dutch cheese and beer. (make that 4 things i missed) it was heaven... we ate chunks of it, forget any bread or crackers, just large chunks of cheese...hhmmmm, bliss. the beer was excellent as well 😉
Ok, I have no idea what good cheese is. I knew that was either one way or the other. I don't even care for cheese actually.
There was Dutch lady I went to school with her son, they had a farm and I spent a summer on the farm. Now she made cheese which she sold. I think that is the only cheese I ever ate I can say I actually did enjoy.
