Q: Don't they take up "space"? (I am not a techie so it's a question I really don't know the answer to or if it's even relevant. Maybe they don't take up space)
A. Trust Russ to know the capacity, Stees.

A: Food from the Padang region in West Sumatera. It's the Indonesian cuisine that is the nearest to Indian food although actually very different ~ I suppose the sauces taste a bit like curry. Spicy, sometimes formidably so. All kinds of dishes and side dishes laid out on little plates. Choose and pay for what you want. Found in every village in Indonesia [or at least local adaptations of it] and on every island ~ something triggered at some point by a diaspora of Padangese men [with their cooking pots] from their matriarchal hometown and its hinterland. There are six places serving it within a 10 minute walk of my front door.

Q: Why is there not a place serving Dutch cuisine in every village and on every island of what used to be the Dutch East Indies? 😀

A: It's enough, surely, to know that Russ has a favourite vegetable and that he knows what it is.

Q: Who is Russ's favourite RHP General Forum poster?

A: I suggest you walk The Pennine Way. From near Sheffield, along the hill tops, all the way to the other side of the Scottish border. Takes about a fortnight. Best tackled in the summer.

Q: Does the more widespread use of behaviour management drugs on children in the USA [far more than there is in Europe] give the USA any advantage over Europe?

A: Considering what the Red Hot Pawn Terms of Service regarding Member Conduct say about not using the Service to collect personal data about other users, I'm not sure any of us here should be enabling you by answering this.

A. Maybe we remember things within our frames of reference more easily than things we haven't been exposed to before.

A: Maybe, in the U.S., to a certain extent, it's the widespread and prolonged use of behaviour management drugs, to a degree unseen in Europe.

I like Chaucer...love the bawdiness of the Miller's Tale and the reference to it in Procol Harum's Whiter Shade of Pale.
