Q. Why do some people shave off their eyebrows and then draw them back on?
A: Well in the case of one of my childhood friends it was because he was impatient to start shaving; some people pay a terrible cost sometimes for a 6 month delay in the onset of puberty.

Q: What percentage of men with beards in mid-life do you think experienced a delay in the onset of puberty when they were teens?

A: Breathalysers do not differentiate between wine, spirits and beer.

Q: Britons say avoid grape after grain while grain after grape is ok, and Germans say avoid grain after grape while grape after grain is ok. What explains contradictions in Received Wisdom of this kind?

A: I think all it takes is two nights away: so that there is one whole day when one is NOT either travelling to or from the venue of recreation.
