Q: Is catch-all scorn and cynicism about politicians rather overdone?
A: Politics often is overdone in and of itself.

A: Mostly, yes - but only on songs I have written myself for me to sing.

Q: How would you describe the essential difference between waking up on a Saturday morning, a Sunday morning, and a Bank Holiday (or equivalent) morning?

A: Aside from the actual day, there is none.

Q: With the price of a barrel of oil dropping, like the negative returns on some of my less than astute investments, do you use your vehicles, assuming you have them, more often now?

A: I once tried to henna my beard darker brown but it turned green and there was nowt I could do about it for about 48 hours.

Q: Did you ever bunk off work after a carefully calibrated unfolding excuse about the onset of flu spanning a few days and then, having set up the three day absence, attend a three day game of County Cricket at Lord's and ~ rather obliviously ~ return to work as brown as a berry with no ready explanation?

A: If I were to do that, I'd have thought it out more carefully.

Q. What is your fondest childhood memory of winter?
A. Actually two memories: one from 1970 something when there were snow-drifts up as high as the side of our house, and also of about 6 years ago near Christmas, sledging in the edge of Dartmoor with beloved, sisters, nieces and nephews.

A. The answer probably varies according to the cultural norms of the country. Here what was once normal is gradually becoming abnormal and visa a versa. Deciding on a "partnership" as an alternative to traditional marriage has become acceptable in many states as a matter of personal belief and choice. The "natural" status of men and women is not to be alone now any more than it was in the Garden of Eden.

Note: lolof, please realize that I'm only thinking aloud and know this is a non-answer.

Q. What is your favourite cheese?
A. Crumbled French Roquefort on Salads and Sliced Havarti on Sandwiches. A third would be Aged Vermont White Cheddar.
