Uhmm, I think he meant something else. Wasn't it introduced in America as "Meet the Beatles"? I can't remember but I think the same albumn was put out in the UK with a slightly different title and perhaps a different song line up. Just going from the memory of the books. The Village Green Preservation Society hangs together pretty well.
I really enjoy the Golden Hour of the Kinks because all of those famous, wonderful gems are in one place.
The Kinks LPs are underrated, agreed. But, mostly we want to hear Waterloo Sunset, Where have All the Good Times Gone etc etc.
