Serious question, have you always felt this way or was it something that was taught to you?
The people (thugs) I have met that have been involved in animal cruelty and then have to explain themselves (most don't like doing it voluntarily), don't really see animals as living things, but more of object that is completely detached from reality for them to us the meaning in them.
