One of the best! I'm gonna have to watch the movie now if I can ever drag myself away from here.

Dennis Hopper's speech to Christopher Walken in True Romance to me is one of the greatest monologues ever

That is a pretty crummy list:
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."

I also like Al Pacino's in The Devil's Advocate.

That's the one where he's telling the Sicilians they're all *racial slur deleted*?

It's actually a quoted quote from Moby Dick:

"Towards thee I roll, thou all-destroying but unconquering whale; to the last I grapple with thee; from hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee. Sink all coffins and all hearses to one common pool and since neither can be mine, let me then tow to pieces, while still chasing thee, though tied to thee, thou damned whale! Thus, I give up the spear!"

Now that's a frickin cool thing to say if you ask me.

That be the one. Bill's monologue from Kill Bill, Vol II is also really good but I think a better actor would have made it more memorable.

Another one of my favorite Tarantino's is Jules at the end of Pulp when he is explaining Ezekial to Ringo (aka Honey Bunny)

Have any of you seen this movie? It's a pretty lame movie - sort'a in the genre of high noon, but without the tension that movie builds up so well - and it ends with this bratty, whiney kid yelling, "Shane. Shane. Come back! Shane."

Arrghh, it took me three days to get that noise out of my head, and now it's back with this list. That should be up there on the list of most obnoxious quotes....
