I have no problem with the Ewoks defeating the greatest army ever to have existed in the galaxy. No....absolutely not.

Actually, it is the irony in it which is good. If the empire had been expecting fierce resistence, then they would have went in more heavy handidly than they did, and the Ewoks would not have won.

HOWEVER...

They are small, cudly, cute and I didn't see one of them burn alive. That pisses me off! That's why they're on my list of blunders.

George lucas " well originally the battle of endor was supposed to be fought with wookies, but I did'nt think I'd make more then the first film, so I added a wookie to it. When I got to the third film, I just cut the wookies in half and made them cuter."

Maybe not exact but something like that.

Also if you're going to redo stuff and make it look better, why not digitally erase all those folds and creases in the ewok suits? Or how about that echo image of han solo as he runs from the bunker?

What about the lightsabre fight in ep 4, you can still see the rod alec guiness was holding where they missed covering it in post production.

Why not fix that stuff?

Why fix it at all Nyxie?

What about the stormtrooper in the death star, who's helmet flies up as he hits his head whilst walking in a doorway?
Or the boob-sighting on the dancer in front of Jabba?

See. Somethings should just not be touched.

I loved the re-makes of the films. EXCEPT Greedo shooting first. That was so bad, it's no small wonder Lucas decided to re-fix that. So, what happens now is that Greedo and Solo shoot at the same time.
If they re-make that scene anymore, it will be like a nose job on Michael Bloody Jackson.
Before you know it Solo will be having sex with baby bloody ewoks.

SEE!!!

This is why the buck has to stop here. No further, before we slip into the darkside...

My point was to fix none. I see changing it as a very underhanded form of censorship. Even if it is the original director doing it. Adding is ok, but never take away.

Never take away?

Say, he went back to episode one and...removed...Jar Jar...?

Personally, I agree, I'd have him go back to episode three and have Jar Jar beheaded....but just imagine he cut him out? Good or bad?

No I'd still be against it.

Maybe adding a scene where he gets mowed down towards the end of ep 3 would work.

Contemplate it I will...

But I generally agree that he should have been beheaded by a pissed-off Anakin...

Crushed by a flying senate platform during the palpatine/yoda fight because he was to stupid to realize they were'nt in session. Cut down by that padawan trying to distract the stormtroopers so organa could escape. Any scenario that ends in his demise seems fitting really.

No no no.... Have Christopher Lloyd appear out of thin-air in a old Honda and land right on him! Blend two trilogies together! Weeee! 😀

Hmm.

Yeah? Well?
Otherwise he might have placed 10 such legions there!

Only my top 5 blunders at the moment.

1. The death of the Fetts...Such cool bad guys and they kill them off in such wimpy ways.
2. Jar Jar. Nothing more needs to be said.
3. Just about every Star Wars video game ever made.
4. Greedo shooting first.
5. The entire Gungan race.

Gah! Knights of The Old Republic so far is a really good game, imho. I haven't gotten through the whole thing yet but as long as a certain walking loud-mouth lizard-looking demon doesn't show up at any point... I think I'll give it thumbs up. 😉

As much as I loathe Episode I, I have to admit the Pod Racing game at the arcades is fun but way too short.
