The most important thing you need to know about Cuba is how to say, "Dos cerveza, por favor".
That's how ya say it.
Una cerveza grande, por favor ... beer should never be served in thimble sized glasses.

... and gracias of course.

Met many Canadians in Cuba,
very friendly people,
but the way they talk makes us laugh,
they do a running commentary on everything around them!
(And repeat what each other says)

And they sure get value for money from the free bar!

"FREE"?...Aren't their costs included in the cost of the all inclusive packages? In spite of having to pay for them Cuba is, "hands down", the best value for the money for a Caribbean vacation, as far as I'm concerned. Well that or the other alternative, friends or family with property there. The "running commentary"bit is actually accurate and most especially in my case as I have been told that I do "carry on". 😲 😉

Do you know they have two currencies, one for locals and another for tourists? Think what you call cheap the locals would call stupidity expensive.

You are correct, concerning the currencies, and as for the the expensiveness, I guess it's all in ones perspective.

So you figure I should take some friends I know on their offer to go to Cuba for a few weeks? They have been thinking of actually moving there. Have what they call a cottage there, most would call a home. I should give it some thought after this Virus thing settles down. The perfect situation would be wait till they get a vaccine, but we could be a while waiting for that. Has anyone heard about the Russian claim to have a vaccine? It has been over most of the news, and media.
