That depends on how one understands the words “controlled” and “uncontrolled.” If by “controlled” one understands “zero tolerance, no one ever gets through”, then even the Berlin Wall was “uncontrolled” since some people did manage to cross over to West Berlin.

I am glad we clarified what "controlled" and "uncontrolled" mean for the purposes of this thread.

I am not interested in engaging in a discussion of the premise as you defined it (uncontrolled immigration "in effect" ), since neither your nor I support uncontrolled immigration "in effect." Maybe you can find someone who actually supports the premise to discuss it with.

I believe everyone is forgetting the thousands of miles of unprotected boarder between Canada and U.S.A...All they have to do is get what ever they are moving into Canada, from there you have a lot of unprotected boarder into the U.S.A.....I believe I've mentioned this before, don't know if anyone commented on that or not.

Except for the part that one tenth of a percent of the total drug trade comes in via the wall and across desert.
The big bang of shipments come in at SEAPORTS, something that Trump would be LOATH to admit because that would strip one of his arguments for his stupid wall, WE NEED TO STOP ALL THOSE DRUGS COMING INTO THE US, SO WE NEED THE WALL. Which is total bullshyte.
