No, but I'm trying to get to know my stuff. I think making salads is a great way to learn about food though, because:

- you learn how important flavour and texture are
- you learn how to maintain balance, even with contrasting flavours
- almost anything can go into a salad, so you can experiment
- it's essentially assembling ingredients, so it's simple and the failure rate is low
- the enjoyment you get from creating a great tasting salad is high

Also, I haven't poisoned anyone since the last time I made raw chicken salad with salmonella sauce. ๐Ÿ˜€

I go to the store and buy salad dressing. Companies now make the stuff for you.

I buy a lot of ready-to-serve stuff because I am lazy and a bad and unmotivated cook, but I almost always make my salad dressing myself. Making a salad dressing takes almost no time and is simple enough even for me, and the result is usually far better than any bought salad dressings I have tried. It also doesn't contain any strange stuff like preservatives, artificial flavourings or colouring. You should try it.

Once you've had real home-made blue cheese, vinigarette, etc. you'll have a hard time choking down store bought. Especially the Blue cheese....

I work in a resturant that makes all it's own salad dressing. I have better things to do with my spare time.

If you do, you've been lying in the past about what you do for a living.

It is no secret what I do for a living. I am a butcher. or to be more precise, a meat cutter. I cut, grind and patty hamburgers at a drive in restaurant. Where is my lie? ๐Ÿ˜•

First, that's not what you told me, second - if you're a butcher, you have nothing to do with making salad dressing.....do you want fries with that ?

It's the only occupation I have had for nearly 6 years.

You must have me confused with someone who gives a rat's ass anyway.
