@drewnogal saidWhen a man goes along with a lie about his own death how is he to be believed about other deaths? Call it as you wish, I stand my ground. Once caught in a lie...called a prank, hard to believe that person after that.
That’s a callous thing to say Rusty. It was mentioned in the Notable Deaths thread in response to another of our community posters acknowledging a Christmas bereavement.

@very-rusty saidMaybe it’s hard for you to differentiate between a humorous post and one that may be genuine? If I were in doubt about a bereavement being true or not I think I’d say nothing.

@drewnogal saidYou go with the humor story if you wish, I am not buying it as others on here don't buy it. They got caught in a lie, since when have you become the "TWINS" protector???

@very-rusty saidThey don’t need me as a protector. I just happen to have an off site friendship with a few players on RHP.

So is it you’re feeling embarrassed that you genuinely thought that one of them had died? There’s no shame in that.
@drewnogal saidI don't like being made a fool of as I am sure you don't either. This is exactly what the TWINS were aiming for. I am not concerned if you are friends with them or not, you can have both of them as far as I am concerned.

Might be best to stay out things that don't really concern you, or you become part of the argument, which I am sure was not your intent.

@very-rusty saidWhose argument?

@drewnogal saidI could speak in French for you if it would help you to understand what I said better?

By now you should know to put the whole quote of what was said, not just a part of it.

@very-rusty saidWell this is English - It was a callous thing to ask for proof of a bereavement.

@drewnogal saidYou still don't understand it was a sick joke during a Pandemic. If I lie to you are you going to believe anything I say after that? I very much doubt it, in this case that is what occurred no reason for doing that. Many thought he had actually passed. Perhaps you don't understand. Or at least pretend not to understand.

@drewnogal saidThere are a number of people/institutions that have to be advised with proof of death (a death certificate). I am absolutely sure that participants here at RHP are not included in that group…unless, of course the death is of someone in a position to be so involved.🤔
