@fmf saidYep, never a Chamberpot member she confronts is it.
Ah yes, you have chosen to confront me about the "fresh air" issue - as opposed to anyone else. Interesting. Anyway, thanks for your advice.
And who are all these new members who arrive at a chess website, join, and rather than play some chess they go straight to forums, not to the help or chess forums, no, they apparently go straight to the general forum, straight to a thread by FMF and make a post bleating about bullying or toxicity.
They could all be Suzianne’s house-mates I suppose.
@suzianne saidGhost of a Duke was lying. He'd not even seen the exchanges between me and Executioner Brand. He made it all up out of whole cloth.
I saw them.
Like most normal people, I think he was right. Not your version of what he said, but what he actually said.
Edit: He, meaning Ghost, not EB.
@torunn saidWell, I think we’ve each helped give a true portrayal of the group dynamics here Torunn - Never a dull moment!
Please leave it and let new posters in. They need some fresh air here to feel the desire to join.
And as in a compost heap, turning to introduce fresh air helps with the breakdown to produce a great compost.
@drewnogal saidThere are 10s of 1000s of members on this website and about 25 maybe 30 regular posters in the GF. 16 years ago when I joined there was maybe 50 or 60 regular posters mostly camped out on two sides, a clan called the PFC (public forum contributors) and a big club called the TSM (the silent majority), and guess what, it was all a mix of arguments, bannings and creativity… just like it is now.

I even have a post by Kewpie from about 10 years ago claiming that general forum is boring and calling for a “fight” to liven it up!
Yep, I do.
@divegeester saidI had no idea that this one would turn out quite so lively.

@david-burton saidBe the change you want.
How about we all role play a crazy conspiracy theory we're we all respect and tolerate everyone and life in the Matrix sorry general forum gets immeasurably better for all of us apart from them.
@divegeester saidNice... always a pleasure.you have been nothing but kind to me.
You’re the one who’s been banned multiple times.
Go figure.
