I was fortunate enough to get to see Dire Straits at (old) Wembley for the Nelson Mandela 70th birthday celebrations in 1988. It was an awesome day; Eric Clapton joined Dire Straits as their guitarist was on pat leave.

First gig I took my (then girlfriend) wife to. Good times.
