I'm a freelance lighting cameraman and from time to time I contemplate volunteering my services free of charge to the muppet's involved in the making of chess videos. I've yet to see one with aesthetic values approaching that of an interview shot for a local news station. Should I ever do this then I might also persuade a colleague from the wardrobe department to accompany me as they all seem to need a little help in this area too.
lmfao.........
Seriously, this is by far the funniest message board post I've ever started!
But seriously....
in regards to the last post that for some insane reason insinuates that chess players are not all that aesthetically pleasing. please go find the book "Chess Bitch" I can't remember the girls name, but she's a highly rated chess player and not too shabby on the eyes.
Hell, if Judit Polgar would throw some make up on and dress sexy, I in all likelihood would hit that 😛

Jack of all trades here. About to start new job (and second round) in the IT industry. Previously had been in the military and education fields. The best & in many ways, the worst job I've ever had -- like a poster above -- was to be a junior high school English teacher in South Korea. (Hence my handle on this site...someone might get it.)

I know what you mean about best & worst job. I'm one of the lucky ones who actually enjoys teaching here. Plus, it beats working for a living.
