You would never here him say he was being bullied. He was not that type of man. He took it and dished out (in my opinion) as good or better than he got. I do believe he was bullied and he knew it, we had many conversations in the early years when I was helping defend him. GBS was close with him also I believe!
I learned quite quickly he was much more articulate also more subtle than I was, and really didn't need my help. He really didn't want anyone defending him, ( in my opinion) doesn't make me correct about this.
I believe I knew him just as well as anyone did. Did you receive a message telling you where he was? That did mean a lot to me, that I was one of the people who was contacted.

As I recall you and GB had many debates I will call them. I don't think either of you really disliked the other, just tried to out wit the other person. Some say GB brought a lot on himself, and perhaps there is some truth to that, but he certainly wasn't the one who started it in the first place.
Then everyone jumped on board against GB, so they would be among the "popular crowd". I am not saying this was your intent. You pretty much said what you thought, didn't make you right or wrong.

Bob is now out of the hospital and on the mend. It will take time, so I am not sure if he will be posting for awhile. I just hope that he is able get back on the computer soon as all of you miss him whether you will admit it or not. 😉
