If I posted, to other posters, that you had once said, for example, something racist or sexist and you denied that accusation, you would be intolerably miffed If I completely ignored your denial and continue to repeat the claim to other posters.

Maybe it’s because Very Rusty’s still the utterly cretinous dikchead whom you used to deplore before you finally, eventually, decided that the best way to keep him on side was to invite him into you club. A club which you initially set up to pull all the convos out of the GF just to avoid and ostracise him.
