@ghost-of-a-duke saidBut I rarely if ever hear British people using “Sir” in conversation, it’s more an American thing if anything.
I'm British.
Perhaps it’s a “tell”…

@divegeester saidAnother example.
You’re the one who tells us you are “broken” “sleepless” and “destroyed” when you get a little problem in life.
Cool.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidIt is my observation of you generally, your character. Brittle, spiteful, dishonest and quite nasty when the chips are down.
Only in your embellished version.
Back in reality you read me post to somebody else that I dreaded team meetings. You choose to ignore the actual reason I gave for this, preferring one of your own manufacture. It's your MO.
People dread team meetings because of the team, not the meetings. It was a little slip by you which I found amusing. Particularly since you threw me under the bus in your club without even speaking to me first.

@divegeester saidGood God sir, where do you live? Streatham Hill?
But I rarely if ever hear British people using “Sir” in conversation, it’s more an American thing if anything.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidI’m just repeating what you’ve said about yourself.
Another example.
Cool.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidWhy do you call people you disagree with on these forums “Sir”?

@divegeester saidNo joke sir, you could be talking into a mirror.

@divegeester saidIf only that were true. Why do you feel the need to twist and embellish?
I’m just repeating what you’ve said about yourself.
“sir”
One suspects it might stem from some kind of perceived inadequacy.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidI haven’t lied about you in a private club, causing significant strife between you and acquaintances.
No joke sir, you could be talking into a mirror.
Why did you not speak to me first Ghost of a Duke?
Why didn’t you “instinctively” trust me so you would “feel happier in life”?

Did you not say you were “broken” and “destroyed” when you had a problem with your lease?

@divegeester saidI called a chap 'sir' this morning on the bus. We weren't having a disagreement.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidPerhaps you hadn’t lied about him behind his back.
I called a chap 'sir' this morning on the bus. We weren't having a disagreement.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidTry not to get upset; you just don’t know what you’ll do next, when you’re upset.
Because you are a duplicitous and symbiotic weasel.
