I would go to a Spanish country, if I were you. Go to Venezuela or Cuba or so.
but i need to go somewhere with a stronger currency. it would be impossible to save anything in peru.
i'd love to visit venezuela though, it looks lovely.

Tell us the things you most dislike about the country you're in, then you might even get some relevant suggestions from people in countries where those difficulties don't exist.
the weather, the people, the over charging of EVERYTHING, the weather, the government, the language.
been thinking america, if only for a year. but what state?
edit: new news on the weather front - it just started snowing (again) but this time there's already snow on the ground and there's no wind. crap.

Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece or Cyprus.
Well, if you're considering the States, but you hate the weather you're already experiencing, that rules out about two-thirds of the U.S.. Disliking the people you're dealing with knocks out about six or seven more states. Being overcharged puts Florida, California and Nevada out of the running.
That pretty much leaves Georgia, specifically Savannah. Gorgeous city with plenty of antebellum architecture and great people.

i wouldn't mind some snow as long as there's a hot summer and not a lot of rain.
