Like shaken, d'v, not stirred. Hiding is also an art. I don't win a lot of games but I take a certain amount of pleasure in realizing that certain opponents seemingly disappear when it becomes obvious that they are losing. Hiding, again. I like "quirky" though...

Also he can't link Britain in one grouping. I think the Scots must eat the blandest food alive (haggis excepted - it's nice), but modern English cuisine is excellent. In fact, cuisine around the world has undergone a revolution.
although it is rarely healthy...
tunnocks does not produce bland food. go buy something tunnocks. like a tea cake. or a caramel wafer. you deserve it 🙂
also, relative to our population we have a high amount of resaurants in good food guides...

As a student at edinburgh, I am quite pleased to find Edinburgh has been named 'best place in britain' for drinkers!

admittedly the population more than doubles during university term time, but it still holds the record!
but it also has the best indian restaurant in the UK (officially!), the seafood restaurant is one of the best new restaurants around and a few of the hotels also have excellent restaurants...although i did work in one of the better hotel restaurants, so i'm not sure what that says about them...
