I'm a huge fan of 24, but last season was so poor that I really fear for Kiefer Sutherland's reputation in season 5.

Aw, don't say that. I'm halfway through Season 4 now. I loved the other 3 seasons and so far 4 is pretty good, aside from some super-cheesy and unbelievable moments.

The best part about season 4 was the hot terrorist chick

Yep, Mia Kirshner is the only reason I bought season 4 on box set. I thought season 3 was the start of the slide, although it picked up during the Stephen Saunders story arc.

Darvlay - I hate to tell you this, but if you're halfway through season four, you've already seen the better half (Araz family, death of Kalil, which is better than any of the ridiculously apocalyptic episodes which follow). Episode 23 is excellent, but it's basically soft porn.

Marwan just doesn't cut it for me, he was just too dull and flawless to lead the line as a villain. I don't think that's Arnold Vosloo's fault, he's a decent enough actor, but the writers simply forgot to attach a character to his character's slightly comical list of superpowers.

By the way, did anyone hear that Surnow and Cochran tried to buy the rights to The Da Vinci Code to use as the script for season three of 24? I'm not quite sure how the hell they would have written Jack Bauer into that one.

24 rocks.

The incompetence of TCU or TUC or CUT or whatever the anti-terrorist squad is called, is unbelievable.

Bauer is like the most anti-social, terroristic moron running around. He's the ultimate bad-guy.

I love it!

It's like the A-team on speed!
(although the A-team was funnier)

Mine was the 24th post in this thread. Is that cool, or what?
