about 150 or so, and I'm still provisional, I figure that will work itself out at the sturbridge tourney this spring, that will give me a total of 15 otb games.

You might be surprised; my nephew who had a similar rating to yours here and OTB got killed when he moved up to the U1600 at the NY State Open. He dropped from 1276 to 1152.

my last game in stamford was against someone unrated who finished first and a provisional 1642. If I had managd to beat him, I would have taken first, and ended up around 1275. I played the sicillian....badly
