Thanks for that, I still remember a verse from the poem starting - The silly buckets on the deck - that I learned at school but had forgotten what it was all about.

There was a terrible parody poem with the line "the albatross fall down go boom" which has been stuck in my head for decades. Don't know any other lines in the poem, but I remember it had to be read aloud in a dirge-like droning voice.
