Here's one that I played...possibly the only one on this site. I didn't understand the opening but I seemed to do pretty well until Nyxie caught me with a tactical maneuver deep in the middlegame.
Game 793009
Originally posted by AThousandYoungI remember that game, you played so well in the start I was beginning to think I had made a mistake in playing you. Despit what you think you kept solid till the very end. I had so many variations going in my mind at the end it was dizzying.

For another interesting alekhine's check out my game against Vasana and look at move 15w. I thought I did well in the middle game again, but with her I was totally lost in the endgame, and became very sloppy.
I often refer to these games when I play an alekhine's.

yes, but it does keep with the spirit of this opening, as black redeploys his N while luring white forward. actually this is quite playable.

C'mon, somebody must have some 1...Nf6 games in their archives they want to share!
If anyone wants to play an Alekhine Defence game please challenge me. Black or white, rated or unrated, you decide, but please keep the timeout setting at 7/7 or higher.
if you don't like 1.e4 e5 you should try the Sicilian 1... c5 or if you be lazy man and don't wanna learn all the variations (i know i am) try pirc defence (Pi-R-Uf in some countries) 1... d6.
these openings can be played regardless of what moves white plays after 1.e4
Thanks for the input everybody. Nyxie and ATY: nice games!
1.e4 Nf6 2.e5 Ng8 seems ... interesting. I will look into the line when I'm more comfortable with the traditional line. Thanks for the real world example Mephisto.
I just finished Game 1158058 which illustrates the general theme very well. Here's the board after 8 moves
My g8 knight got to move 15 times in the first 30 moves of the game!
If anybody wants to try out the Alekhine Defence (rated or unrated, black or white, set-piece from an interesting position) send a challenge over, just keep the timebank at 7/7 or higher.
