ELO (from american profesor E.A.Elo who invented it) = international rating system or in conversation language - international rating. You can get it, playing in international tournament against opponents with ELO.
I` dont remember exactly (because I got ELO more than 3 years ago in 2003), but I think you need to play at least 8 games against ELO-rated opponents ang get at least 1/3 points against them.

Yes I know what the ELO rating system is. But I also know that you don't refer to a rating as an ELO (noun).
And that you need to state what kind of rating it is (USCF, FIDE, playchess, RHP &c.) for any statement about rating to have any meaning.

2.Rxd8+ Kxd8
3.Kb8 ...black move ?
4.then white pawn moves towards promotion.

Its winning too, but 1.Rc5 (with 2.Qxc7# ) c6 2.Rxc6+ dxc6 3.Qxc6# is more effective.

1 puzzle: Rc5! mating
2 puzzle: draw, no matter what white does.
3 puzzle: Re1, Re2, Re3 or Re4 followed moving rook to the c-file.

but why are these puzzles so easy. any +1400 player should be able to solve these in seconds...
