Are you attempting to become the first person to fill up an entire page of forum posts unanswered ? Oh crap. I've spoilt it. Sorry about that.

you, Duchess64 obviously have a personality disorder and a deep psychological problem about the inadequacy of your chess.

You need to seek some professional help - try skyping to some GM's for some coaching.

I'm not going to waste my life meeting you in person to play an OTB game (I mean I might end up in bits dumped in a wheelie bin) but i'll play you here so we can expose what patzer you really are like most of us - you can even play white).

Ohh.. I naturally expect you to come up with some weak excuse and reject my challenge...what's it gunna be?

Book LXIX

In which Duchess haughtily refuses Plop's challenge, but uncannily fails to explain why someone spends so much time on a chess site without actually playing chess:

Why should Duchess explain such things?

As i'm being ignored, I shall restate my message in hopes that it is read:

Board Fighting Aside

I wish you the best of luck with your personal situation. I have had similar experiences myself and I'm aware of the burden it can be.

Here's a good GM simul tip:

When reading advice on the forum in a thread about how to approach a GM simul, only read the first page of posts. Almost inevitably, the thread will go downhill on subsequent pages, until it devolves into something completely off subject.

Such is the anonymous internet.

First impressions are so important. Instead of blaming everyone else for what followed, why don't you go back to the first post you made in this thread and explain ( in less than 1000 words ) why you expected a different reaction.

Where do people get the time to write up such long tiresome posts..? ;-)

Does anyone ever read them..?
