What is the sicilian i should play, lets say hyper-acclerated dragon. I did however fianchetto my bishop which i believe is in the opening?
starting out, you should find an opening that feels good to you, and stick to it. the simpler, the better, so you can use most of your time & energy to tactics and strategy.
Wanted to play c5 because i wanted to try something new. e5 is boring. The french D has its drawbacks that i dont like with the B traped, forcing to fienchetto it on the Qside, prefer Kside because castle that way. QID has a N problem being attack by pawn moves i believe, My friend play sicilian and thats the one i would know the best.
EDIT: By saying boring I mean stale and i have lost many games with e5. With the french, our club champ plays it, but I have no confidence to talk to him. And with the QID nobody plays it anymore, to complex and hard to play, I suppose
