I might go there. I've played in Toronto before and I'm only 60 miles away from Windsor. How far is Edmonton from Detroit? Or Flint Michigan?

I'm not sure how far it's from Detroit or Michigan. The point is, in Edmonton we don't have a crazy rebuy thing. Even the Canadian Open we hosted did not have that and 225 players from around the world showed up including Ivanchuk and Shirov.
That has to be theeee dumbest thing I have heard. If you lose game 1 and you buy back in or whatever, and you get half your point, What happens to the other guys win? Does he get the full points for beating you?

I've complained about the practice, but you see, there's just too much money in it for the organizers to stop it.
