I don't know if this is mentioned, but Kasparov on The King's Indian is a great book. Basically, they sorted a lot of Kasparov's KID's into chapters by variations. The games, although played from the 70's through 90's, are still great today. The theory may even hold in most of them!!!
Winning With The Nimzo Indian, however, was terrible. It had some nice variations but gave you just enough analysis to get you in trouble. Most lines aren't even there and there are big holes in the theory.
