And i've finally learned this. 🙂 At least to an extent.


I'm going over games i've lost and finding out why, and figuring out what I SHOULD have done.

I think my playing strength as increased thanks to this. 😲

My feeling is that I am taking on too many games in the hope of sharpening my observation skills. I am coming to the conclusion that this is not the way to do it. Maybe take a couple of games at a time. Use the board analysis facility to play through variations. If you still find yourself getting beaten, perhaps challenge players with an obviously low grading. Personally I don`t find beating someone who is a lot worse than me [and they are as rare as rocking horse manure] particularly satisfying. My philosophy is that each new game is fresh start. If all else fails - challenge me. You are certain to break boost your average.
